Curie school had the honor of celebrating World book day 2017 this past Thursday, April 20 and Friday, April 21 with the special guest appearance of Lesbia Espinoza, journalist and author of the book "La Chicharra Cantora".
The book was read to the children of first grade who are celebrating their anual "Ya se leer" party celebrating the moment in which the children are first welcomed to a new world of learning through reading. An autographed copy of the book was gifted to all the kids in hope of starting their new journey of literacy.
